When my daughter, Mila aged 9 started sessions with Horses In Partnership we were desperate to find something that would increase her self-confidence. She has always been shy and quiet but her lack of confidence was affecting her work at school as identified by her teachers.
Mila was excited but hesitant at first. Sat was so lovely with her and throughout the session I could see her confidence growing right before my eyes. I also noticed while watching their activities that it was helping her develop some leadership skills.
Mila formed such a strong bond with her horse, Pegasus and by the end of the session she was so comfortable and confident in her abilities that she was telling everyone about her time with him and we could see her face light up while telling the story.
